Problem Identification

The first thing we did after being assigned the theme: "Promote gender equality from an early age through education, awareness."was to identify a certain problem that we might be able to solve. We decided that we want to initiate a project that can educate young girls about how to protect themselves facing sexual harassment.

We offered two possible solutions to this problem; one is to have our users play as detectives in a video game. In saving the missing girl we want to teach teenagers how to protect themselves against sexual violence. Another solution was to create a video platform to promote gender equality by providing knowledge and legal aids to those who have been sexually harassed.
PROJECT DRAFT

After identifying the problem on the theme that we were assigned with, we brainstormed some ideas about how to carry out these solutions and presented the result on glitch.
This glitch page aims to help you have a better understanding of the spirit we want to give to our users, our motivations, and the main goals we want to achieve.
WIREFRAME OF OUR PROJECT

After that we made a wireframe of our project. These were the first drafts of what our projects would look like. We thought about how to improve users’ experience, and we decided to focus on developing one application that can educate children on how to protect themselves against sexual violence.
In these wireframes we’ve designed some layouts to outline the specific size and placement of site features, conversion areas and navigation for the app.

MOCKUPS & TESTS

The next step was to create on Figma the mockups of our project. These mockups demonstrated our concepts, so that it allows us to get users’ feedback more easily. It is a medium-fidelity representation of our projet.
We started our mockups with only the main feature of our concept. Then, we had it tested by potential users. Given the feedback of theese testers, we improved the mockups. These mockups will give you a better understanding of what our application will look like and how we want it designed.
You will find the link to our mockup here.
